MTE186K was a Leyland Atlantean PDR1/3 / Fowler H73F new to Fishwick's Of Leyland (6) in August 1972. Fowlers were owned by Fishwick's, but this was the only double decker built. It was planned that it could be built with two doors if required. It is said that a major company had expressed an interest in buying a large batch, but delivery dates could not be met. After disposal it passed to Mercers at nearby Longbridge and it is seen here on a private hire to Morecambe. The blank panel on the upper deck after the first window is not unlike some Northern Counties bodies built on Olympians.
