Hull Trains HST

Day one today of the 0823 starting earlier and running from Beverley and it is the HST so is starting from Hull! Seems like a bit of an own goal to part cancel the extension of a service on its first day.

SPM still have daily visits from the retained GWR fleet, so it’s not an issue. They won’t lose 43 years of experience overnight!

Nope, although it's normally on the 1148 or 1348 KGX to HUL, on Fridays - Mondays

Don,t think they know whats running till the day before some days let alone if its an HST or 180. it all depends whats died while out the day before and can it be coaxed back to life to run the service or not.

HST on today's 06:26 from Hull.

Sunday 21st has not been planned in yet. As well as 180 availability, it sometimes depends on trained crews being available and if there is a need to move people about to cover services worked by the HST, or put requests out for Rest day working, things are not always finalised until a day or two beforehand.
