Goddammit you beat me to the joke...

We're just gonna have to be satisfied with 2-1 in the League Cup Final, we got nothin' else going this year...

Hello,

I'm new to this forum and this is my first post on this forum. I'm very much into cars, particularly Alfa Romeos. I have a very early MGB classic car and used to have a 1960s Alfa Romeo and am on MG and Alfa forums. I'm very much into steam, mainly steam trains and have been on a few of the Cathedrals Express Steam Dreams excursions, my favourite being one hauled by LMS 6233 Duchess of Sutherland.

hello all, new member here. My interest in trains has developed over the last couple of years, and I hope to work in the railway industry, perhaps in the customer service area or as a Train Despatcher, although I would love to be a driver.

I'm nearing the end of my IT course at college, and I don't really know what I'm doing afterwards, but hopefully as I mentioned above, I''ll get invloved in the rail industry.

Thanks for having me on your great forum,

ryan92

I've been on for a week now but have only just discovered this page so I'll introduce myself. My name is Dan, I am 14 and love science, geography and maths; and like cars and trains, not the trainspotting part though :) I also have trainz simulator for anyone who's interested

Right, being as I now seem to be actually using this forum, rather than stalking it, I'm going to reintroduce myself.

Name: Eagle. Feel free to stick a definite article in front of that if you want. Or call me 'Bird', 'Feathers', 'Beaky', whatever.
Age: (today's date) – (March 11, 1990). I can't be bothered with maths right now.
Location: Originally Blandford, of Somerset and Dorset misfortune. Coventry for now. Right in the gore of the junction between the WCML and the Nuneaton line (and you'd be surprised that with six Pendolinos, six Desiros, a couple of Voyagers and a Sprinter all passing within 200 yards of my house every hour I can't hear them at all). Next year Kenilworth, backing right onto the line just north of where the station will won't might get built.
Occupation: Firstly, a masterful student of chemicalology at a certain well-known university. Secondly, and perhaps foremostly, organiser of charity collections in various cities for various charities at my uni's RAG society. I provide both these services free of charge.
Interests: The railways and that. Of course. Also the roads (you may notice I have an account on the forums of SABRE*, which I'm rather embarrassed to admit has been dormant for about a year now). Oh yeah, and I'm a furry, in case you hadn't guessed. Don't know what that is? Wikipedia is your friend.

And yes, I do talk like this all the time. Thank god you don't have to meet me in person.

* the Society for All British and Irish Roads Enthusiasts. People get annoyed when you forget the 'and Irish'.
