I don't think it is... but maybe you'll think of something I haven't.

The best solution I can come up with is to head into London around midnight on the Saturday, get one of the last trains up to the Airport and err... sit it out for 6hrs.

The flight's at 0710, and although I don't have baggage, I don't want to chance it...

Nothing comes to mind (first FCC from STP will be 06:02)...

Transport Direct comes up with:
N155 bus from Morden station at 03:49 to Clapham Common station.
Then N137 to Marble Arch
Then 757 coach
Arrive 05:49

Greenline 757 should run all night.

Last train on a Sat night/ Sun morning is the 01:33 off of St Pancras arriving Luton Airport Parkway 02:18 bear in mind you will then need to get a cab (or walk if you haven't much luggage) as the shuttle bus finishes at midnight.

Had it been any other night there is a 04:32 train but even with that you still need to cab/walk it from the station as the shuttelbus doesn't start till 6.

As mentioned the Green Line coach runs all night -

03:22 Bus N87 from Wimbledon Station
to Clapham Junction
03:53 Train to Victoria (arr 04:05)

Walk round to the Green Line bus station
04:20 Coach 757 arr. Luton Airport 05:30

Not wildly more attractive than any of the suggestions made so far, though...

N87 will take you to Vauxhall. Plenty of choices from there to Victoria on the buses.

Blimey! I might stick to plan A...

Thanks for the tip Westcoaster - sadly it only bumps it down to £11.99 for me. I think I'll still get the train...

You will need to get to LAP before midnight though as it's a bit of a trek from the station to the airport after the shuttle bus stops running and a cab will set you back at least a fiver (what you can do is see if any other fellow airport bound passenegrs are around at the station exit and get a cab between you to lessen the cost).
I have often seen people setting out pulling luggage along thinking that it's a short stroll. The route you would have to take on foot is around two miles.

If your prepared to get to Luton Airport for 0305 and sit it out for 4 hours.

You could pay £7.99 for 0200 from Victoria straight to the Airport, as remeber you will have include cost of taxi fare from Luton Airport Parkway to Luton Airport, as shuttle bus does not run after 0000.

Another reason not to use abbreviations which can obviously be confused with somewhere else!
