Is the Banbury Commuter Set running?

Wondering about how to make a trip north this afternoon (24th August)

The Banbury set was withdrawn earlier in the year, and advertised for sale (don't know whether it was sold).

A replacement set was sourced from the ex-GA fleet, which is slightly less non-PRM-compliant than the old set was. This went to Eastleigh for modifications and I've not seen any mention of it emerging yet, unless anyone knows otherwise?

Not until at least May, still unlikely then. I’d be pleasantly surprised to ever see it.

From what i understand it is still there and has not been used.
