Got hold of a copy of the Just Trains DVD - Birmingham in the 1990s from Poundland on Friday.
What a load of rubbish!
Plenty of traction that i wanted to see, especially in Intercity livery but it was accompanied by an awfully cheesy soundtrack which replaced the actual train noise.
Are there any more in the series and if so, do they all have the same rubbish music?

Im sorry but I bought it only the other day and thought it was great yes the music could be better but all that for just one pound it's definatly worth it.

Well tbh footage of 308's on the birmingham cross city line and a Intercity liveried class 31 dragging a class 308 though Water Orton is worth it from pound land.

Just trains? Is that the same as Trains in Traction? (which also appears in cheap 'n' crap....aka Poundland stores!). Just as inferior quality! Bought a tape at a model rail exhibition for £2, watched it once, and thought it was so rubbish that it went in the bin! :|

Wouldn't even dream of selling it on ebay, punishing the buyer with it's crap quality!

Perhaps the idea that he's uses them is what's so laughable?

Sorry to be so graphic but they were selling the durex extra long 12 packs recently.
I actually got a smile from the female cashier, i wondered whether she actually was thinking whether i needed that size or not. :)

Train Crazy stuff seemed rubbish, or was when I got the colours by number (or somethingh) and the Pacers, Sprinters and express one, which was ok to have one for DMUs, but spent too long filming too many 156s, and the sound was nothing, what the hell did they use?? the sound of the unit or tracks didn't seem to pick up until it was about 5m from the camera, then some train pulls into platform 3 like 2 tracks away, and you can't hear anything, not even the rails as if the volume was on mute or something!

Because everything's a pound in Poundland.

No **** sherlock

I think Train Crazy is generally OK! The 156 section on Pacers, Sprinters and Turbos is long, but the narrator said they the 156s were his favorite DMUs :p

I agree though that some of the filming is a little poor, I for one wasn't keen on that really long shot of the doubled up 156s at Weeton (near Blackpool) coming round the corner!

On the "Electric Locomotives" and "diesel hauled passenger trains" videos, their filming quality seems to of improved quite a bit. God the narrator sounds so annoying on those videos, and i have met the person at a train crazy stand, and took the ****!

So next time i saw him, he said "Look, just for you! I've got someone else to narrate the latest production!"

We don't have a Poundland in Bristol :( and there's only one 99p Store, but that's all the way over in South Bristol!
