Passed Knottingley MPD on a Grand Central Service. There are a number of Mk2f? coaches sat on the depot. Any idea what the stock is doing there?

I had read somewhere that it is Riviera Trains owned stock and is currently having work performed, possibly the fitting of controlled emission toilets - don’t know if anyone can confirm?

08 605 and 08 704 at Knottingley Depot.

There are currently two class 08 shunters deployed at Knottingley Depot for carriage shunting. With Knottingley Depot slated for closure just 12 months ago it has since won a reprieve after DB carried out some rationalisation of assets and demolished the redundant former EWS Energy division...
