Lea Green new station and car park - any news on progress

Anyone know what is happening with the new station building and car park at Lea Green station on Merseyside?

It appears progress over the last few weeks has come to a standstill.

Took a trip there yesterday and it's practically done. I believe it's opening towards the end of April all being well.

According to Northern JourneyCheck the ticket office (which will be inside the building I think or apart of the new building) should reopen on the 1st May.

Got off at Lea Green today, and certainly can't see the new station opening tomorrow.

I live 10 minutes away from the station and every time I go past it never looks like its going to be finished. The opening of the the ticket office has been delayed so many times due to something or other.
