Leeds - Skipton - Lancaster

Hi everyone. Does anyone know what's happened or is happening to the Leeds to Lancaster service during an afternoon?

I get the Lancaster to Leeds in the morning (06:48 - 08:41) but now it appears the 2 afternoon journeys have been removed unless i wait until c17:26pm? Only other routes are via burnley and change at preston, or via manchester, both only slightly longer but more costly. I see the Leeds to Skipton part of the journey is still there but no skipton to Lancaster services apart from 2:58pm or 6:10pm? Always used to be one around 4pm

TIA guys for any info. Hoping this will return as finish work at 3:30 usually so waiting until 17:26 is a bit meh.

The pm departures from Leeds (Skipton time in brackets) in the current timetable are 1218 (1258), 1418 (1458), 1726 (1810) & 1918 (2000).

There hasn't been a ~4pm departure from Leeds to Lancaster for a long time now. Several years at least.

Certainly there's not been a mid afternoon departure from Leeds (towards Lancaster) in the current timetable, i.e. since 15 May 2022.

Was there a Bradford starter added?

0641 ex Forster Square. Since May 22 it has doubled up as a stopper from Bradford - Skipton and then the Skipton - Carnforth introduced originally in Dec 21.

Read no more into it starting at Bradford rather than Leeds. The only reason it isn’t a passenger service from Leeds - Skipton - Carnforth is lack of paths at the Leeds end at that time to make it a viable through service.

As @Neptune has just confirmed, that'll be the 0641 (SuX) from Forster Square, which officially only runs as far as Carnforth, and then ECS on to Lancaster. It's in the current timetable, not sure when it was first added.

The times changed in May 2018 (to 1418 and 1725).
1316 and 1645 prior to then.
