Hi All,

Does anyone know if this section of track is still used by any current workings? (ECS/Freight?)
For those who don't know it, its the section of track that connects the Cross-City line to the Camp Hill line in South Birmingham avoiding Kings Norton Station.

Cheers

Some freight uses it. The washwood heath to boston docks steel uses it in the morning.

There are also some 'round the houses' empty XC Voyagers that do it. No passengers though, you missed your chance when Proofhouse Jcn was remodelled :)

The rails are usually nice and shiny suggesting it sees fairly regular use for diversions / re-routing I assume.
