Ye that's exactly right. It does it on any CAF unit as well.If it’s the same as the Desiro UK it shows where the Train Manager is keyed in to do the doors I believe

I saw this once and wondered if the doors hadn’t locked or something - a concerning prospect for a departing train.Ye that's exactly right. It does it on any CAF unit as well.
Ye it is abit concerning at first but as your key works as the DKS you have to leave it hence why the hazard/BIL keeps flashingI saw this once and wondered if the doors hadn’t locked or something - a concerning prospect for a departing train.
I should’ve come on here to ask!
When would a guard typically do that in such a case? Once the train has fully left the platform?if the guard has dispatched from the the rear cab the exterior BIL light will flash until keyed out.
Ye you have to keep it in until you have cleared the platform. On alot of the new units you need to keep your key in for the buzzer to work and you need to be able to use the buzzer incase either you need to stop the train or if the driver needs to give you a buzzer code. When would a guard typically do that in such a case? Once the train has fully left the platform?

Yeah I know, that’s why I was concernedThe train wouldn't move in that instance.
