Wanted to travel on a LNER Intercity 225 before they are replaced by the CAF sets.
Are there any reliable times at which these sets run? I tried taking the 20:33 London- Leeds recently but that turned out to be an 800.
I seem to have consistently seen the 19:33 London- Leeds run by an IC225, I should add.

Similarly, is the 10:57 Friday Grand Central train typically an Adelante, or Voyager?

For 225's https://225group.org.uk/docs/Intercity-225-Services-LNER.pdf

1057 from where to where with GC?
Their voyagers only run Bradford services, no Sunderland ones
The M-F 1023 Bradford - Kings X and 1456 Kings X - Bradford return seem to be the most consistent 221 operated runs

I highly recommend a cheap Seatfrog if you can. Standard class is nice, if not somewhat similar to Azuma standard but with different seats and TV PIS instead of LEDs, but First class really is something else.

Never thought I'd see anyone say that in relation to GC. There was also a Voyager on the 15:25 London King's Cross to Bradford Interchange yesterday (Saturday).
I've never been on an Adelante before, that's why! I have been on Voyagers loads of times

Ah, good luck getting on one with their reliability. I don't like the seats GC has kitted their 180s out in, I find them extremely uncomfortable so I avoid them.

With the mk 4's I actually prefer the standard class seating to first, if it's not ram-packed. I'm not a fan of leather seats on trains. They tend to be too slidey.
