It looks more like the part of the vinyl with the old LM logo on it has simply been scraped off to me.It will be working for Northern now, it's got a white band over the old LM branding.

PRM mods were more pressing than reprints at the end of last year. They have had PRM mods and internally have Northern seat covers so will definitely be staying. Thanks guys. Wonder why they haven’t rebranded it; maybe it is one of the trains set to go when they axe the pacers.
Just passing through York and seen this. Anyone know why this was here?
Maybe they thought - "that's a much nicer livery than ours" - and decided to keep it as it is
Wonder how many places London Midland livery has got to. It was a common sight between Dalmuir and Motherwell for a while when the first 320/4s were converted. Has it been seen in the far south west as well?

I assume you mean Central Trains? Centro was the brand name used by the West Midlands PTE in the 1990s and early 2000s.I remember those transferred units well as they had all internal signs in English and Welsh because at that time Centro had worked the Cambrian Line.
Those are in London Northwestern but the LM livery did run that route for a while when the 350/3s were brand new and helped out on Tpe over the Commonwealth games IIRCLondon Midland branded 350/4s are currently operating to Glasgow and Edinburgh on a daily basis.
158s wore Central Trains livery, and London Midland livery was nothing like it. Central Trains worked the Cambrian line until it transferred to the newly created Wales and Borders franchise. In the north we had the green Centro livery on lots of 158s that were moved here-15 years ago?? The LM livery was an update of the Centro livery.
