Can't match Bevan but I've had:

Fenchurch St: 2-6-4 tanks, 37 T&T (Buffer Puffer). I might have had a Brush type 2 (class 30) prior to electrification going live but I can't recall for definite. Certainly had one on a run from Upminster to Southend.
Liverpool St: 31, 37, 47, 86
Moorgate: 31
Kings X: 31, 91
St Pancras: 45, 47
Euston: 85, 86, 87
Paddington: Castle, Britannia, 52, 46, 47, 50, 31

It's been very interesting reading the posts on this and I can't help but take a rough guess at the ages of the various posters :D

I don't know the class numbers but I here's my attempt from memory:

Euston: I took the motor rail from Euston to Inverness and back from Edinburgh. Would have been summer school holiday 1990

King's Cross: I went on an excursion to Lincoln for a Christmas Market. Would have been in the early 90s. Don't know what diseal would have hauled it.
Victoria: Steam Dreams tour to Cantabury in 2000 and then one around 2006-08 to Bath. Can't remember which kettles lead those. The first one definitely had no diseal on the back. Not sure about the second one but suspect not as it was steam hauled all the way.

I've done HST from Paddington, possibly Euston and definitely King's Cross.

here to eternity
(not including HST power cars which are not locos in my book)

Euston - 56, 81, 85, 86, 87 and 90. (also possibly a class 82/83 or 84 on a sleeper into Euston in the 70's but i was only a kid at the time)
Kings Cross - 89, 90, 91
Liverpool St - 86, 90
Victoria - 73
Paddington - 37, 47, 50, 57
Marylebone - 67/68

I'm the same age as Richmond Commuter so most of my locos were scored on service trains and railtours from 1980 onwards

I thought you were around that going on what you've said on here and at other times too.
I'm 44 in a couple of weeks time hence the lesser variety of traction, I was lucky enough to get a couple of 85s and also have D200 and a few Peaks but by the time I started properly things were being thinned out.

Most of my haulage out of Euston and Paddington was used to see what was on shed at Willesden and Old Oak Common. Kings Cross was slightly different due to my fondness for Deltics and the fact that plenty of locos could be seen on the 'Cross stabling point. Trips from Liverpool Street and Waterloo were seen as a change of scenery rather than anything else.

Although I lived in Derbyshire until I was 18 I was really lucky in that one of my older cousins lived in Surbiton and was prepared to put a roof over my head from the age of 13. I was never supposed to stray from Zone 1 but I had other ideas!

here we go then from memory:

Kings Cross: 55/47/43/91/90/67/89 (GNER version)/373 (GNER version)/Tornado
Euston: 86/87/90/55/47/57/67
Waterloo: 50/47
Victoria: 73
Paddington: 47/57/43
Liverpool Street: 86/90
STP: 47/43
Marylebone: 67/68

not bad considering I don't keep any records and lived in the NE for most of my life and have included only trains available to the general public.

I can't match most of those, but I have left Marylebone behind a 40 on a railtour in 1979. This went to Derby for a quick tour of the works, then onto Sheffield, swapped to a pair of 76s, over Woodhead, back to a 40 to Birkenhead Rock Ferry, return with 76s to Sheffield then the 40 back into Liverpool St.

Other than that nothing out of the ordinary for the period. Standing in the lead coach vestibule behind a 25 between Paignton and Dawlish sticks in my mind from a 1978 holiday.

Surely I'm not the only one here who's had a Warship or Hymek from Waterloo?

At least a couple of people have had Warships out of Waterloo but I'd have thought a Hymek out of Waterloo would have been quite unusual?

Not unusual going into Waterloo - basically whenever a Warship broke west of Salisbury. There was usually a spare 35 at Salisbury or Westbury. Going out of Waterloo was rarer, I guess if there wasn't a spare 42 at OOC to replace a failure.

I'd love experienced that and some of the other traction folks have posted on this. :)
