These films may be of interest:

A simple film: the doors close, the train departs from Chesham station... eventually it arrives at Finchley Road station - which is where the journey ends.

Filmed in 2010, edited highlights including passing other trains, 8:38 minutes of high speed action in SD quality.

Liverpool Street to Moorgate - a short 3 minute HD film made in 2012 with lovely sounds! Entire journey / not edited.

More to come, mid month.

The link below leads to the 'main' A Stock Nostalgia film. This includes footage of the trains in original condition, after conversion for "one person operation" and after refurbishment. Scenes from outside the trains first and then inside the trains.

Additional scenes include the train lights going off when the power collection shoes were gapped at complicated / complex pointwork, a look at the guard's door control panels, fast running / station skipping / fast trains passing all stations trains (includes some trains non-stopping Harrow On the Hill!), train painting (all three experimental variants), East London Line trains on the main Metropolitan Line, all three prototype internal refurbishments (major change, minor change and the refurbished 1990 4 car unit), a de-icer car, a RAT train, and more.

Also seen (alongside A stock trains) are Sarah Siddons, some BR InterCity Mk2 passenger carriages, 1973, 1983 and 1986 tube stocks, British Rail Class 117 DMUs....

Alas I am too young to have also included A stock trains in their early days when they worked alongside locomotive hauled trains with the Dreadnought carriages, F, T and P stocks plus BR trains that went to Rugby, Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield and Manchester.

Virtually all the filming locations are named, apologies but the film is a tad over 22 minutes in duration.

Enjoy!
