Is there some kind of tracker, like RTT or OTT, that shows information about individual underground services, including timetable, service number, etc?

I found Intertube to be useful for this. It shows train numbers and timetables, updating live as trains move around.
That's very good - albeit a bit clunky to see the train number. I don't suppose there's any way of searching a lead car number in any way to avoid having to click on everything that's running to see if a particular one is out?

Does anyone know how accurate the timings actually are on Intertube?

As accurate as the public data feeds are, which is “it depends”.

Click into the line, then “Find by Working Timetable (WTT) or leading car number”.

It will only search by cars currently leading, however.

It is generally just as reliable as direct Trackernet access (internal only, of course) making full use of the open data feeds.

You won’t find anything better in the public domain, imo, although I rarely have cause to use it nowadays (being lucky enough to have direct Trackernet access on my phone!).

I've found it now, thank you - and the leading car is good enough, especially since most of my remaining photographic requirements are S7s...

The link didn't work when I manually typed it into Chrome on my phone, though - but it did work when I fumbled back through the forum on the same phone and clicked the link - I've now saved it on my phone main screen.

I know it is crude - and does not give car numbers which was the point here - but if you just want to know where services are

I mention this one as I have found it always seems to work on any mobile device when signals are poor - whereas Intertube seems to me to be a bit flaky unless you have a good mobile signal - which you may not have underground even on open air stations on sub surface lines, not even deep tubes.

It can be useful to look at the outer extremities, or when things are "severe delays" to actually see how big gaps are where you might be.

I too have internal access to Trackernet, but I don't carry the work mobile on non working days so occasionally have to resort to these external views. And I don't feel the need to look up or even know car numbers.
