Major Disruption Waterloo - Surbiton

Both westbound lines reportedly blocked in the Wimbledon area. I'm sat on 1323 Alton train at Waterloo and nothing has departed towards Wimbledon for the last 30 mins.

It would appear there is an electrical fault at Berrylands.

Earlier, a train may or may not have been on fire.

Some trains may be diverted via Chertsey.

Edit: All lines have now reopened was tweeted at 1409.

Disruption is expected until 23:00 tonight. They must be confident it's going to be bad as late as they have put, as lately they haven't alwwys put a late a time as that and the disruption has lasted for longer than put.

Broken down train tat Aldershot north junction this morning broke the morning peak quite alot. Now the evening peak is damaged too. Happy commuters all round.
