Hi

I've just got home from Inverness, and changed at Peterborough and due to someone being hit by a train, it causing mayhem for NXEC. Leaving PBO to 1345 to glasgow was due at 1530, and the 14XX arrived first.

Any GEN on which train hit the person, and if it was a suicide?

It was decleared non suspicious but as it occured on a foot crossing it is currently unclear whether it was an accident or suicide.

Odd, there was another near there (Knebworth, next station down) in late March, pretty much 4 months to the day. Same thing, non-suspicious and everything.

non-suspicious covers "no reason" there can be many reasons why someone throws themselfs at a train when I was at COV sometime ago there was a suicide at Marston Green, turns out the bloke killed his wife then himself!
