Oh, there goes that idea then. Shame. No, there are no guards cabins on 777s (nor 507/508s), only drivers cab at either end of the train.

Make the drivers’ seats into commodes…..Oh, there goes that idea then. Shame.
As much as this is true we unfortunately cannot expect such basic levels of service anyone and should always assume worst case scenario and try avoid getting yourself into jams since the government is not going to assist in getting you a seat and to your destination on time.
Only to be expected. Could be more for Long Marston?Just to cheer everyone up there are pictures on RailAdventure GmbH Aktuelle Sichtung of another three 777s on their way through Weidenthal this afternoon, no unit IDs viewable though
Which 777's are they?Only to be expected. Could be more for Long Marston?
What was the failure? Mechanical fault or just a door problem?2K59, unit 777152 failed at Fazakerley. All pax kicked off and waited in the cold for 15 mins!
Which 777's are they?
What is a commode? A sort of guard cabin?Make the drivers’ seats into commodes…..
That's right - a commode is a chair that is fitted with a potty. What is a commode? A sort of guard cabin?
I tried googling it (and other search engines) many different ways, but because of Americanisation, trying to search the word "commode" only brought up toilets...
Bloody yanks.
Wow, I misread the conversation entirely... Thanks! That's right - a commode is a chair that is fitted with a potty.
What diagrams are most likely to have a 777 on them? last part of the network ive not rode on one yet as I did the New Brighton branch on a 777 last weekJust did Liverpool South Parkway to Southport on 777 030. Thankfully without incident, although it pulled into Southport one carriage length short of the buffers - apparently the platform (3) isn't level so they can't come in all the way.
Lots of work going on at Southport, wonder how much of it is 777 related.
Is that another euphemism like 'one sandwich short of a picnic'?one carriage length short of the buffers

Four of the ten diagrams. Heading north it is headcodes ending 7/8/9/0, e.g. 2S17, 2S18, 2S19, 2S20. Each diagram takes 2.5 hours to do a round trip. What diagrams are most likely to have a 777 on them? last part of the network ive not rode on one yet as I did the New Brighton branch on a 777 last week

Mechanical, the conductor shoes wouldn't raise. Driver tried a full reset and this didn't work. What was the failure? Mechanical fault or just a door problem?

Does seem a little odd, the only thing I can think is that 3 sets plus barriers won't fit into Long Marston in one go?
Is this the same 3 units that moved north yesterday then?Obviously not as midland gen are reporting all three 777s on this mornings 0625 6Q78 Walton to Long Marston
Is this the same 3 units that moved north yesterday then?
Well reported above as seeing 3 units on the rail cams and there isn't any other 777s at Walton so must be the caseYup, that's what the gen site is saying anyway
He does not do Merseyrail diagrams / allocations with the exception of No 507001.See Part-time spotter for units to diagrams and diagrams
