507001 and 507029 due to leave the network for the final time this morning, Thursday, 23rd January. Fingers crossed all goes to plan!

The final Merseyrail PEP drag has happened at last but at least 001 will be one of the very few units to leave Newport fully intact!

According to the Instagram profile of Class 507 Preservation Group, units 001 and 029 have appeared at Newport.

001 with additional ”Railway 200” and ”Derby” signage in the driving window.
