507 021 is solo on the 13.23 Central-Hillside
507 033 also out solo on the 14.03 Hillside-HX

In the case of two out of the three vehicles, they aren’t in any condition as they have recently been scrapped. One complete vehicle remains, in a poor state, plus the cab section of the other driving vehicle has been salvaged.

Quite a rare sight nowadays, 507016 has moved over from the Wirral and is currently stabled on Kirkdale depot, perhaps moved over to use the wheel lathe?

I think 507016 did venture out into passenger service this morning on 2N04 (https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:C30717/2024-04-04/detailed)
but terminated and started back from Birkenhead North, and was then replaced with 507028 upon arrival back at New Brighton.
If 507016 is suffering from power problems, perhaps the plan is to couple it up to 507021 (which I believe will finish on Kirkdale depot this evening) to work as a 6 car on the Southport line tomorrow.
I guess we will see tomorrow.
Todays visit saw 007, 017 and 028 on the New Brighton circuit. 010 was seen stabled at New Brighton in the spot where 018 had resided.
Working on the Hillside to Hunts Cross services were 001 + 003 together, 016, 021 and 033 all solo. 016 was a pleasant surprise and it seemed to be working ok.
Of the rest: 011, 014, 015, 018, 023 and 029 there was no sign.
Ironically, 40 years ago I was doing the Wirral lines for the 503's. My younger self would probably be mystified by my desire to ride 507s today..

015 was on the Chester line on one of the XX15/XX45 diagrams ex Chester.
507014 is currently on 2S04 0651 Hunts X - Southport.
507007 is showing as emerging to work 2N16 1008 N Brighton - N Brighton.
Thank you managed to take my chance and board it at Liverpool Central. Will be catching 507007 soon appreciate it.

Reported pairs of 507s on Ormskirk line from Thursday to Saturday this coming week, the consequence of such being less, if any, 507s on the Southport line….

Are all Wirral Line services meant to be 777s from tomorrow? or will some still be 507s?
All booked 777 from tomorrow I'm told.
