On Zetland Street. Right in the town centre. Near the shops, town hall, gallery and council offices. Same as where its been for 100 years or more.
Does this question really need a post on a national forum? You can get maps, directions and even pics from nationalrail.co.uk

More interesting I think is that nearly the whole station is about 3mtrs above street level, and the understation building is a fine example of victorian gothic architecture. It was occupied for decades by a long-established family owned firm of wine importers, Winterschladen & Co. Their cavernous bonded warehouse built into the railway arches made an excellent wine cellar - full of maps of german vinyards and, of course, a station-full of good wines! Oh happy days!

I think Dave's point was that you should be able to find it easily on Google Maps or something like that. And as he says you can get all the details on nationalrail.co.uk.

Just out of interest, what train are you getting from Middlesbrough?

Right, you might hit some delays between York and Leeds as they've been happening all day apparently.

Middlesbrough is ok. I've been spending Xmas there for the past few years , will be again this year and always found everyone to be warm, polite and friendly. The station itself has a very endearing old-fashioned charm to it. Not a big fan of the 142s though. They really should be put out to graze.

Just a five minute walk. Its not far, east along corporation road for one block will get you to the huge and grand-looking old Town Hall. Pass that then turn left down Albert Road, and (passing under the flyover) the station is just two blocks down there. Shouldn't be any problem

Or you could go through the Hill St. Shopping Centre, come out, then turn left and follow it down under the flyover - much easier, in my opinion - and you'll also see a record-breaking number of Greggs!
