New Aviation Discussion forum

Following a review of the Other Transport forum, and feedback that the Aviation Discussion thread was getting difficult to follow, the forum staff team have decided to trial a dedicated Aviation subforum within Other Transport. We've moved recent relevent discussions into this new forum, and any new discussions related to airlines/airports etc can now be posted in this area! We've also locked the existing Aviation Discussion thread, and moved this into the new subforum for reference.

This is somewhat experimental and will be reviewed by the forum team in 12 months.

A very sensible decision. At times the aviation thread would both go through several pages and cover several issues in a single day making it tough to follow.

At a recent forum staff meeting we have decided this Subforum will remain on a permanent basis. We have also provided a direct link to the Subforum from the forum homepage (only visible for those on wider screen sizes such as desktop computers, laptops and larger tablets).
