New S7 Underground stock

The first S7+1 21319+21320 has been delivered for the MET. These 3 will be available once the first S8 is returned to Derby.

Also 21309+21310 has been delivered for the H&C so should rotate onto T700 with the other 4.

S7s testing Gloucester Road-Tower Hill today.

They should be fun over the 'intresting' wear patterns near Embankment...

I suspect they will enter the standard maintenance rotations, although I do stand to be corrected on this...

I was told on the A Stock tour yesterday that one of the most recent S7 deliveries was hit by vandals en-route to LUL - can anyone shed any more light on this?

Also, I assume T700 timings are still as previously posted? Might get out to see it this week!

Just for the record the additional coach in set 21319 is numbered 25382.

it should be renumbered by LU to 25319 before entering service, then when inserted into 21381+21382, regain its former number.

Yes, as the S8 problem is confined to the first 30 delivered.

The train quoted is M-F T261 a "runs as required" passenger working from Hammersmith-Moorgate. The train then runs empty to Wembley Park and Neasden depot 'for maintenance purposes'.

There are no other scheduled Hammersmith-Moorgate passenger workings 08:00-13:00 M-F.
The S7 'preview service'/training runs are reported as:
T700 M-F "runs as required":
1007 HMS-MGT 1040
1055 MGT-HMS 1127
1128 HMS-MGT 1202
1210 MGT-HMS 1241
1428 HMS-MGT 1502

Most likely on the H&C from the 9 December timetable change.
Integration testing still taking place in April on the south-side-of Circle, so in service probably from the May timetable change.

Oh nice. I live near Upminster and sometimes take the Bus to Barking instead of getting the District line. Is it still down to one a day? And does anyone know around what time i would get a chance to travel on one or is it random?
