No Northern City line services during tube strikes

Great Northern will not be operating any services between Finsbury Park and Moorgate during the tube strikes

All class 717 services to terminate at Finsbury Park or King's Cross

Or I am told South Ruislip. If the reason is station staffing you would have thought that there would be a few TfL managers available to staff three Northern City line stns. Unless there are concerns about overcrowding.

GN inner services are so poor these days that they will struggle to meet demand if the Piccadilly line is closed.

Plus the Northern Line High Barnet branch.

I can see the GN class 717s being completly full by New Barnet / Oakleigh Park and Winchmore Hill on the Hertford Loop.

The Pic line was completly closed for the last tube strike on the Saturday before Christmas.

No Chiltern on the Met either. Chiltern have been quite creative in getting some peak hour services running for affected stations including some unusual peak services - Aylesbury Vale Parkway to MYB Marylebone via PRR Princes Risborough and a Great Missenden - Princes Risborough via Aylesbury (reverse Platform 2) service for London connections. All seem to be extensions of existing workings or ECS running in service.

Unfortunately for some unlucky commuters does mean that the 7:39 PRR-MYB Class 68 + MK5 is shelved this week as it's a Class 165 from Aylesbury Vale Parkway instead !
