Does anyone know when you become a qualified driver if you do the apprenticeship with Northern and can no longer apply for a trainee driver position with LNER, for example?

Once qualified you can’t apply for any apprentice trainee roles.

I get that, but I’m asking when in the 3 year apprenticeship with Northern do you become a qualified driver? After 1 year? 2? 3?

You’re classed as qualified when you pass your Final assessment, which depot dependent is between 7-12 months
