Its a good job they didn't go Blyth Cowpen (The much larger settlement the other side of the A189, linked by the new bridge) that would have made some interesting debate when the announcements were recorded as it is pronounced COO-pin locally“Bebside for Blyth” might have been an appropriate way of naming it.
