Noted these between St Dennys and Southampton today. Made me feel like I was in Germany for a moment. Interesting to see that they even have the E wagon designations.
As a German, it is odd seeing all those DB emblems in the UK
With the DB logo and red indeed.
Out of interest is there any foreign wagons on our rails ?
It's a shame that you didn't get much in the way of BR wagons in Europe. Nowadays the closest thing to this are the freightliner locomotives and wagons used in Poland, but Freightliner is no longer owned by Brits.

This isn't relevant to nowadays, but I recently read a copy of the railway mag from the ww2 era and it mentioned how a number of Italian wagons in Cornwall had been seized. Back then, there were wagons that could be used internationally, as there are today.
As for nowadays, I'm not sure but it's a good question. I'd say the Channel tunnel and Dollands Moor is your best bet. Aren't cargowaggons used in Europe as well?
Yes, I've seen a few no uk wagons out and about. Even container wagons often are non uk reg, plus some car transporters that come into and out of southampton have non uk markings.
Aren't a number of car wagons owned by STVA? This French company was responsible for building quite a few cartics.
I think the majority of recent new wagons for the UK have been built abroad and have arrived by rail so guess that they might have to be Euro-registered to be moved on other systems?I think all new wagons in recent years have been Euro-registered, even those owned by Network Rail!
Like this? The wagons are a 'Britishified' version of a famous type of car wagon built in France in the 1960s, and originally usually seen branded 'STVA' or 'GEFCO'.
