Nottingham Net Tram Driver Assessment Day

Hello everyone,

I have an assessment day coming up in Nottingham for a Tram Driver.

Just wondered if anyone has been through the process or knows any information about the assessment.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Mine is on the 15th March

Process consists of 9 stages on the day. Presentation, multiple tests, tram simulator test and finally if you reach the last stage an interview, I just missed out on the interview stage.

Isn't Nottingham Trams run by KeolisAmey? They also operate Manchester Metrolink which I had an assessment day for in December so I would assume both places would be similar. For mine we had an interview, climbing into the tram and operating the levers, an essay at the start describing how we arrived at the assesment centre, and tram simulator.

Hi Mate,

You listen to a presentation about the company and the role and take notes. Then afterwards two exams which involve hazards and physcometric testing. After that is a tram simulator test which involves two stages. You get to the interview if you pass all the stages first. Best of luck.

If you pass all the stages you will be gone by 3pm.

Depending on how many people pass the exams or get sent home. The less people the more quicker the tests get marked.

I have Withdrawn my application as I no longer want to to work for an inadequate service that is supposed to be supporting the people of Nottingham but it always breaks down etc and is supposed to have millions of taxpayers mo ey spent on it but still can't produce a service

Always on local newspaper is the tram breaking down etc. I don't see why I should have to keep on updating passengers regarding the issues it has. I'm there to operate a Tram which should be great.
