Hi everyone.

I have just had a mate ask me why there was a NXEA class 90 at Peterborough, off the wires with his pan raised and coupled to a class 66.

Anyone have any idea what was going on.

All the best.

Simon

Was it in NXEA colors?
Could it have been off to Donny works for re-paint?

If so that would explain the 66's as it would have come from Crown Point (via Ely Avoider?) and up through March etc...

Are they starting the repaints again then?

There was one that had an ADD activation yesterday, I think it was 90007. Don't think there was any major damage to the pan though.

No, I don't believe they are starting the repaints again. It's just the 317's and 321's that are still being painted, nothing else.

Although very unlikely, it could be gauging for future OHL on the March line with all the work spent on upgrading the line it is pausible.
