A week and a bit ago, I was passing through New Malden Railway Station in West London when I noticed these old British Rail posters on the wall.
One of them is a warning about assaulting a BR employee whilst two other together were, respectively, about new style tickets and second class season tickets.

Can anyone date them or provide any more information?
They might have been visible for ages, but I thought they might be of some interest to you

Looking at the logo and southern region box it looks rather modern to me, better than some of the modern logos at least ;)

There were some interesting old posters uncovered at Richmond about a year ago, but I don't know if they're still there now.

Won't the posters have the year they were issued along with other details in small print in one of the bottom corners? There is certainly something of that sort printed in the corner of the season ticket poster (but I can't make out what it says.) Any regular passengers from New Malden on the forum who could take a look? (Annonymously if needs be!)

aha ik but when I look at other 60s/70s product logos they look dated but that works most probably why rail alphabet is still used today (though not on the UK railways)

Rail Alphabet is still used for signage by FGW, FCC, TPE, ATW and Merseyrail. Additionally it's mandatory for lineside safety notices. I think it's also used in some other countries (I've seen Swiss railway signage using it).

Network Rail wanted stations to adopt a uniform signage of white on dark blue using the typeface Brunel, but other than their own stations only SWT and EMT comply with that.

They look like they're there to stay - they've been framed now, and where there weren't any posters, some obvious copies have been introduced to remove gaps.

You'd be surprised what you can find on stations. In a (now) non-public area of my station, there are posters on the wall from the 1930s and a passenger timetable from 1938. Unfortunately they're far too delicate to be removed, I think, and some have been damaged over the years. They're in an area which has had no working lighting for some time so they have lasted very well indeed.

A poster I remember from the 1970's was one concerning fare dodging. It had three silhouettes, a fare dodger with a police officer and a ticket inspector standing either side. At my station someone had scratched smiley faces on the police officer and ticket inspector and a unhappy face on the fare dodger.
