With just over 3 weeks to go, I thought it is an appropriate time to open a thread for discussion about the tour (and to see who else is going on it!)

As stated, 4x Class 20s are expected for traction from Michael Owens stable, and the iterniary looks good too!

The 20s are self selecting as the provider of the 20s owns 4 mainline locomotives - 20007, 20142, 20189 and 20205. Looks like eight mark 1 carriages - three full standard class coaches, another standard class coach with the miniature buffet and three first class coaches plus the brake / support coach.

Final timings appear to be likely to come out close to the weekend.

Coaching stock is from Nemesis Burton isn't it, not the rake at Tyseley

Correct but there is a 0Z20 path from Tyseley tomorrow with just one 20 actually located there at present.

Are you sure? I am absolutely positive I saw 2 20s, both in blue, when I went past this afternoon. I was on the 1503 Stratford upon Avon to Kidderminster, they were there whenever it was I passed Tyseley. I want to say around 1540.

I’m not certain no, I just know that TOPS only shows one at Tyseley, I will gladly be proved wrong since the rail tour states four 20s!!

Fair enough. It looked like 20205 nearest the mainline, but I was more trying to ID the 196s so I didn't properly note the numbers. Might have been 189 and 205.

Any updates if it’s 1 class 20 or 2 or 4 on the tour??

TOPS now shows 20007, 20142, 20189 and 20205 at Tyseley so these will be used for the railtour.

I can confirm that all four locomotives are on this tour as pathfinder tours have confirmed it this morning
