2 years ago I had to go to London but needed to stop of at Cambridge.
The guy at the travel centre sold me a PBO to London terminals ticket.
I used it on the cross country service to Cambridge and was let out of the station by the ticket inspectors. Went to Cambridge town, came back and took the FCC train to KGX.

I am in possession of super off peak ticket, with the RTN portion unused.
Please can someone advise.
If it is not permitted, what is the cheapest way or getting any free excesses.
I know my ticket is free to excess upto Welham green.
Thanks.

Are you asking if a Peterborough - London Terminals Route Any Permitted Super Off-Peak Return is valid via Cambridge?

If so, then the answer is "yes". No excess is required and there is no break of journey restriction.

In addition, please state the full name of the stations on first use. I have edited it this time but it would be appreciated if this is followed in the future.

Many thanks.
I have a few more questions

1) When they check my ticket do I have to ask them to endorse it for each split?
2) How many days can I break my journey for in Cambridge before resuming?
The original ticket is valid for 1 month.

Many thanks

You don't have to get the ticket endorsed, but it may save you hassle later on if you do

You can break your journey for as long as you like as long as you finish it before the expiry date of the ticket

Even though the return portion may be unused, at two years old it is unusable and has no value.

I was under the impression that the ticket in the 2nd paragraph is not the exact same ticket that was issued 2 years ago.
