Does anybody on here have any troubles updating it? I just tried and it says '' the game could not be started ( 80020148) ''. Its like mission bloody impossible trying to find away of getting incontact with Sony. And i cant seem to find anything on tinterweb about it.

ta if anybody can help / find a link.

Beaker if you werent rude to me on msn I could help;) but I will anyway have you restarted it and then removed the disk re-done the update then tryed re-doing it on charge and restarted it? Is the download on the psp unblock me on msn and I can help;)

I used to test PSP's for faults and that is commonly known as being "bricked". Your PSP was interrupted while it was being updated somehow, and therefore is stuck half way between the old version & new version.

There is NOTHING that can be done as Sony put this feature in to stop people downgrading the firmware so they could stop people "stealing" from them.

I'd give Sony a ring, if you bought it 2nd hand though they wont cover it. If that's the case, take it back to where you bought it and make a massive fuss to get a new one! :( ;)

EDIT: It may be worth giving the disc a little clean, also try updating the firmware. It does work sometimes. :)
