I thought "Inspiration" only runs June to October - unless you've found different info to what's on their site? Can you direct me to the source you've got for it being 12 months?
Seems odd that it would run until May 2026: 201st year.
In the FAQ's on the website linked in post #9
Inspiration will visit about 60 locations across England, Scotland and Wales over 12 months. This will include every region in England.

Ah thanks, I hadn't seen the FAQs. I wonder why they didn't plan it to commence its year stint at the beginning of 2025, rather than half way in...
When I saw the GWR150 travelling exhibition, in 1985, it was looking "tired out" and that only ran for a few months. Goodness knows what state "Inspiration" will end up in, after 12 months... :)

I wonder what topics will be showcased in the "Inspiration" theme?
High Speed pan-UK rail network? Nope.
Simple fares structure and ticketing? Hmmm.
Integrated network and TOCs? Well....
Midland Main Line electrified and 810s in revenue earning keep? Ah...
But at least we have some 701s in service....
:D

Hate to get technical but it ain't the 201st year until September 2026

It's a bit of a shame that the tour's full intended itinerary isn't made available.
Whilst I recognise things can and might change, it would at least enable families to plan (and book) a tour visit around other "longer lead-time" commitments - such as booking a holiday (flights/hotel/cruise).

I'll hold fire on our booking; I hope the tour will locate closer to Hampshire's coast later in its itinerary. East Grinstead, for Bluebell Railway, will be a faff for us.
As to where capacity exists for it to lay up a couple of days? I can only think of Bognor Regis or Littlehampton. Portsmouth Harbour already makes use of all its platforms, I believe.
