It's an upgrade with some new features. Regardless of whether one is better than the other, if you are thinking about buying it you will get Railworks 2 anyway as if you installed Railworks, it would automatically upgrade to RW2 via Steam.

I don't have Railworks installed.

If I purchase Railworks2, will this give the same features as upgrading from Railworks?

What marker tools?

Platform markers, siding markers, destination markers, scenario waypoints?

Which would be the Top Ten scenarios for locos?

For locomotive DLC's.

Would be Class 37 Pack, Class 66, Class 57 (Has to be one of the best bits of payware dlc)

For the routes, Darrens Bristol to Exeter (Just Trains), WCML North (quite demanding), The new Edinburgh - Glasgow line.

Freeware routes, Again Darrens Fantastic Cresston V3 and believe V4 to be released at sometime soon?, Wales and Borders are a fantastic selection as well.

There is a Class 40 for imminent release from both Digital Traction and IHH, both will include scenarios I presume. There is also a Class 50 available from both IHH and Meshtools, both include scenarios I think.

Neither of the others are available yet.

I am not sure what you mean by "modifyable". Everything works as normal for me.

In fairness, I have little choice other than to have it working, such is my job.

Their is currently two verison of the Class 91 in production. One will be freeware (Browse UKTS for screens of it) and the other one a very high quality payware model.

IHH are producing a Class 27 add-on, it's a pity they can't include Class 26 or a BRCW add-on including Classes 26, 27 & 33.

I have a few questions about Railworks with a view to getting it.

Can you build your own layouts/routes to mess about with?
Which locos/loco classes are included on the disc?
Can you pay for add-on stuff wth PayPal?
How exactly do you get the extra stuff off websites?

Most probably stupid questions, but I'm new to it all. I can't get the Trainz download station to work and can't be arsed getting a First Class Ticket so I can waste more time on it.

Another Q:

Has anyone experienced slowdown when more than 3 locos are on screen? I have this problem with Trainz. Thanks in advance :)

1.)You can make your own routes and layouts via the route builder.
2.)FGW HST, FGW Class 165, 166, BR Class 37, 47, 55. A few German trains, DB101 I think it is. American Trains, don't know which ones, sorry:oops: I think there are a few more aswell.
3.)Yes, I think you can pay by PayPal
4.)You can get addons from websites like JustTrains, RailSimulator.com, Oovee and more. It says "buy" or "purchase" on the page.

It depends how your system is, if it is a high end one you can put the graphics on high and have no lag. If it is a standard one best thing to do is to put the graphics settings on low.

Also you can buy a range of addons, I recommend:
Class 390 Pendolino
WCML North
Class 380 & GARL
Bristol to Exeter
Class 66
Class 67
Class 156 & 153

Hope that helped you!
