The Northern line has the highest concentrations of dust levels of any Tube line.
The finding was revealed in a report commissioned by Transport for London (TfL) to analyse air quality on the London Underground.
The line had the highest levels of respirable dust on average, which means it can penetrate down to the deep lung.
TfL said dust levels on the Tube have been going down.
What are TfL doing to reduce the level of pollution in stations? Would installing air purifiers help? Should FFP3 masks be offered as PPE to staff?

What are the comparative figures between the various lines? Is the Northern Line significantly worse than other LU lines? And what's deemed to be an acceptable repairable dust level, and who says that this is so?

The report is available on TfL's website

Having a gander at it, it would appear the Northern isn't some massive outlier compared to other deep tube lines.

It does say that results for everything are within acceptable safety limits, I think we'd know if they weren't(the unions would be rightly demanding masks etc) Air down there is still pretty unpleasant at a lot of stations though.
