Does anyone know whether there's likely to be any RHTTs around on the Esk Valley line next week (M-F)? If there are, what's the times for them at the Whitby end? Cheers!

The Esk Valley line is only covered by a RHTT train as far as Nunthorpe;
presumably the rest of the line is considered low risk?

Based on what I'd been able to find of previous year's RHTT diagrams, I feared that may be the case. :( I imagine it's due the majority of trains only reaching Nunthorpe. The Esk Valley is pretty leafy in places, mind...

Do they go through eaglescliffe at all
Yes - twice!

After visiting Nunthorpe (see above), the train has a 'lunch break'
at Middlesbrough before continuing on to Low Gates (Northallerton),
where it reverses before heading back north though Eaglescliffe and
Stockton to Durham via Ferryhill.

So get to Eaglescliffe for noon and you should see it twice within an hour...
