Hi - Couple of questions on the SCAAT test if anyone can help? Been having a go using the software from the forum..

If it's touch and go time wise if you can complete a line, is it best to leave it? In respect of if you don't get to the end of the line, do they assume any not marked on that line were missed and area counted as failures? Do you actually even know when the sheet change is going to happen on the real test (you can keep an eye on the timer in the software).

On the pages where you have to find two different shapes - are the shapes you have to find available for you to double check on throughout that stage of the test? Or can you jot them down?

Just go left to right and row by row, when the assessor says "change" you'll have to change as you'll loose time on the next sheet, they will mark you upto where you finished on each sheet, you do not know when the sheet change will happen as the assessor has a stopwatch. The shapes are there at the beginning of each test, so you can double check, problem with that is if you need to keep checking you will loose valuable time, best to remember them, also there's not as many symbols at AC1 as there is on the software making it easier, also the sheets are not A4 slightly smaller, hope this helps.

Thank you. Hopefully if the last row is incomplete / some were missed they give you the benefit of the doubt then that was when the sheet change happened (assuming any missed are to the right of your last marked one).
