Is there many Scotrail HST diagrams between Edinburgh and Aberdeen ? I am visiting Edinburgh on a Saturday later this month and am hoping to see a few of them.
ScotRail publishes a list on their website here:Is there many Scotrail HST diagrams between Edinburgh and Aberdeen ? I am visiting Edinburgh on a Saturday later this month and am hoping to see a few of them.

Inter7City (HSTs) - Routes between our seven cities
Always fancied enjoying First Class on board an HST?
The majority of services between Scotland's cities are operated by an HST*. Use the dropdown below to find out if you will be enjoying the superb comfort of First Class on board an HST on your journey.
*Please note, although these are the trains scheduled to run at the below times, they may be subject to change at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances.
Scheduled HST services
Likely due to poor HST availability. Inverness often has to set swap the first few HSTs due to faults/failures. Certainly, the old 0552 Inverness to Aberdeen was cancelled/heavily delayed in recent weeks due to faults/failures.Does anyone know if there’s been changes (eg reductions) in HST diagrams with the recent timetable change?
Glasgow to Aberdeen services were running a mostly HST led service until recently but the past while they are few and far between - today the majority of peak services are 2 and 3 car short form DMU’s instead of 4-5 car HST’s.
Just curious if this is down to poor HST availability or a reduction in service standard/capacity slipped in with the new timetable?
Today's availability is mostly down to maintainence backlog - mostly wheelset issues; though one set has an electric brake unit fault presently. Partly compounded by the recent bad weather, also putting some sets in the wrong place.Does anyone know if there’s been changes (eg reductions) in HST diagrams with the recent timetable change?

Yes, 1H61 1341 Aberdeen - Inverness is still booked HST.Is the 1341 from Aberdeen to Inverness still booked? If not I’ll bail at Edinburgh off the 0710 from Leeds!
Thanks!!Yes, 1H61 1341 Aberdeen - Inverness is still booked HST.
Most of the diagram alterations at the timetable change were related to the additional stops in every second Glasgow to Aberdeens meaning a slight shuffle there, plus some alterations on Inverness-Aberdeen on Saturdays arising from the cuts to the Montrose - Inverurie shuttles.
The same number of sets are diagrammed and same number of core services on each route (except Saturdays Inverness/Aberdeen).
