Scotrail Queen Street vacancies query

Hi all

I went for an interview for on train hospitality assistant back in August at Queen Street.

Did not get the job on that occasion but email said I would be kept on a short list for the next six months and if something suitable comes up I'd be contacted.

Just wanted to ask if anyone knew how often these positions come up?
I'm really keen for them to get back to me during this six month period.
