Hi Paul. Could I ask how you know this please as I’m in the same situation and have been nervously waiting for a medical date for 2 weeks. Cheers

Also has anyone got their final assessments/MMI coming up? I’ve downloaded the practice tests and still have 2 downloads left that I will pass on for free. DM me for the details…
I think I was a good few weeks prior to medical date.
Then after medical pass I was easy 5/6weeks before I got my start date.
Hang fire, it’s a long long wait at every stage.

You will soon discover that nothing moves quickly when it comes to Scotrail recruitment. Two weeks is nothing.

I applied in dec 2022 and didn't actually start until sept 2024.

Incidently, if anyone is after practise test books, I have the general tests and also the situational awareness test books from the How2Become range.
Similiar situation to myself although I am a few months quicker haha. Apolied March 24 and got start date for end of July.

As Ross has said strap in for a wait. I was over 8 weeks after my medical to hear back about a start date! 8 weeks and alot of emails sent I finally got the good news

I did it online and forwarded the details to Matheus. They send a code through for him to access and download directly.
I am in the same boat as your received my disclosure but i couldn't send it to Matheus as needed his contact telephone number aswell. How did you get it over to him?

What practice test downloads? I heard the TOCs normally send them with the assessment invites

Hey. The ones they send don’t quite cover it and I’d urge you to get the ones from traineetraindriverinfo.com , especially the traffic pics as it’s really tricky. I’ve forwarded both my spare downloads on though I’m afraid

I sent him a message and he supplied a mobile contact number. All seemed fine once done.

Not sure if it applies to everyone or only internal candidates but the ScotRail MD said in her newsletter today that number of attempts to pass psychometrics will be increased from 2 to 3.

I’m thinking it’ll just be confirmation that ScotRail is following the amended requirements under RIS-3751-TOM Issue 4 that was introduced in December 2024.

If you have a pc available to yourself you can download all assessments nearly.

Bourdon is online
TEA-Occ you can download a programme,
TRP 1&2 I didn’t find anything to download.

For assessment day 2 you can 100% download all the programmes: dual joystick, flashing images & grey box. All cost about £25-45, helped me immensely personally and made me feel much more confident on the day.
