I'm creating a huge game with the largest size map. The tracks go in a complete circle around the 'world', there will be HSTs on the fast lines, EMUs providing stopping services, and also AC loco hauled freights, going round the loop (with some termini added for variety). Also various deviations. It should be 'finished' some time in February...

Ah, how I loved this game.

I must resist the urge to start playing it again though - it's just too, too addictive! :D

Great 'layout', though - I always used to like taking one of the UK-based maps, getting a rail atlas out and making it 'true to life'.

How do you download it? i downloaded IT then installed it and said there was no TTC file to install it to, I gather you need some third party stuff is it like installing open BVE?

You need the original TTD game files as well. If you can't obtain it legitimately, download it here.

The track is mostly complete, now working on signalling and adding waypoints, stations and also improving junctions. e.g. this one where several freight/passenger lines converge/diverge.

Before remodelling (Flat junctions and unnecessary curves):-
