Is a Shipley to Manchester Stations via Hebden Bridge ticket valid via Leeds. I can think of no reason why it wouldn't be, but I can't get an itinerary online.

Thanks.

The routing point calculator says that Leeds is a valid Origin Routing Point for the journey on VIA HEBDENBRIDGE [00106]. For completeness, the only other valid routing point is Bradford Forster Square, which is the same for ANY PERMITTED [00000].

I can't see a problem with it in the routing guide.

Is the routing guide relevant when I am taking the shortest route to the via point and then to the final destination?

No, as it is within 3 miles of the shortest route by rail (that is via Hebden Bridge as there is the restriction), but that is the easier way to prove.
