With a discussion here about the current situation around coach lettering on Pendolinos, should they be rationalised to fit with the swap of coach G from first to standard?
Unreserved coaches are announced before the train arrives
using actual stickers would make it much more difficult to manage, especially if they want to change in future.
Agreed, it's not worth the hassle, cost or confusionI would say no, as long as each coach is properly identified both inside and out, because it would cost money, and would surely cause even more confusion during the inevitable period when some sets had been relettered and others had not.
AgreedThose with seat reservations should be able to find their coach easily enough
Agreed, and quite simple and straightforward to doand those without should just be advised which the non-reserved vehicles are.
You must be used to very good stickers, my experience is very much not as good. Not hard to peel stickers off and put them elsewhere,

There are currently 3 1st/Premium carriages and 8 Standard carriages on the refurbished 11 cars.A better idea might be to reduce the absurd amount of 1st class. 2 First, 1 Standard Premium, 6/8 Standard. (this won't happen, but it is speculative discussion after all...)
My bad, I assumed the old 4 coach first/SP was held in the refurbThere are currently 3 1st/Premium carriages and 8 Standard carriages on the refurbished 11 cars.
