I’m travelling now on a train from Victoria to Bognor Regis which calls at Gatwick. The OBS has just conducted a ticket check and informed a couple that they can use their Freedom Pass to Gatwick Airport in future as the barrier would let them out but “it’s a bit of a grey area.”
I’m disappointed (but unsurprised reading other threads here) that the staff are so badly trained. I’ve contacted Southern as well already.
Can anyone suggest any other routes to get the staff retrained or rebriefed?
