^^ lol.

It’s people like this that railway recruitment teams want to prevent applying. Too many candidates applying for stuff they’re not really interested in.

also worth noting housing costs are mad in the south east compared to humberside
a basic 3 bed victorian terrace can be approaching 1/3- half a million pounds

Yeah it's crazy price difference but even the worst places are better then what I'm living in and I'll probably be renting. No worries though as I cocked up will have to wait for next one I suppose

even then it can be £200-300 for 2-3bed a week
i am sure you can rent cheaper for shared or less desirable areas or more out off the way places
not being negative just saying go in with your eyes wide open and be well informed

I'd do any thing to live down there really want to work for southern want to be a driver but that all comes with time I suppose. Plus I'd be on double on what I'm on now and I have a partner that may be able to get a transfer

Once you qualify as a shunted driver and wanted to move to mainline driver, is there any further tests to do or Do shutter driver count as qualified train drivers?
