Does anyone know what caused Braunton to fail whilst at the SVR? Has it stayed there or was it towed back on the rear of the 47-hauled charter?

Overheated (little end?) bearing was the failure, allegedly.
34046 remained at Bridgnorth, with 34027 working the train as far as Bewdley, where 47805 ran round and worked forward alone.

Well that was a circuitous route! I wonder if anyone watched it go through Tamworth (twice), first on the low level and then later on the high level?
