Apologies for the late reply - I've been so busy with other things that I totally forgot I was going to sketch up a few more Stagecoach livery designs! I'll have some new ideas tomorrow...
#1048 is nicer
The grey skirt will help with dirt in our conditions.
Thanks! I agree, although I don't think the grey goes with the yellow too well...

Technically a repaint so I’m putting it here. Here we have my code 3 MMC model kit. Did I seafield road it or is it fine? I also tried to make it a scania spec but probably failed

The first tri Axle Caetano Levante has been painted into the new Livery. Which Stagecoach Company does this one work for? I only knew Stagecoach Western having tri Axle Levantes.

If anything I thought it would have been painted in the Yellow and Gold Livery like the Highland Panthers.
Stagecoach West, it was a few months ago. Their Levantes work school services, not long distance ones

Ah right, so they've been cascaded of Route as I remember seeing Pics of them working the X77.
It’s T200 SGB, an ex Nat Ex coach, acquired through the purchase of Durbins. It was used on the 462, school and private hire work around Bristol, but don’t think it’s seen much use recently.

Agreed - ironic that it is on schools as it looks like a white coach that kids have had a go at colouring-in with half a tin of paint they found!
A tin of paint they found in a scrap yard next to an Arriva bus from 15-20 years ago? The shade of green almost reminds me of those really tacky 1980s leather sofas!

I agree, I don't think it will see much use for the coming Months. Could have looked better though with more Paint. The Long Distance livery looks like an American School Bus Livery.

Those X77 ones were I believe were actually former Stagecoach West on NatEx work, which after a few years went to Yorkshire. Then they went to West Scotland but were sold.

But it doesn't work long distance routes, it works school services of which West want those buses in specialist livery.
There is a long distance liveried Levante in East Scotland I believe

I hate green and this looks better than the normal livery.
I'd say it looks like the normal livery, but made completely bland, rather than just mostly bland :)

You could swap out the green for a dull grey and it wouldn't look much worse tbh... if anyone is bored today and fancies photoshopping that...

No point, Stagecoach already perfected their livery with MMC Beachball.
I don't disagree, though honestly I think beachball looks considerably better on original style Enviro bodywork, where the swoopiness of the livery nicely complements the rounded shapes of the bus.

I was making the point that the "specialist" livery is so dull that you couldn't make it more dull even if you just made the whole livery grey.

I think the Green suits the ALX 400 but not so much the Levante. You're right in saying that Stagecoach East Scotland have some Levantes operating Express Routes to Edinburgh and some to Glasgow. X58 no longer a route from Dundee to Edinburgh. X61 replaces that but according to the same Facebook Page which has the Citylink Astromega a few Pages back the X61 only goes from Dundee to as far as Kirkcaldy but I'm unsure if anyone travelling that Route would need a connection to Edinburgh, so far it's been some of Stagecoach East Enviro 200mmc operating the Route.

The Volvo B8 or B9 I can't remember that does the X56/X57 have also been transferred to Stagecoach East from Dumfries so would they get the Yellow and Gold Livery?

Also when will the first Panorama get Painted? I think it would be soon as Stagecoach West have quite a few Vehicles painted now.

at the end of the high and low roads
Just found this thing on Flickr... I can’t decide whether if it looks good or not :| it’s basically a trident in MMC style beachball
It's let down by the horizontal orange strip on the lower front dash panel (itself partly covered by the white back of a school bus sign) as it looks like they used that dash panel without worrying about matching it with it's surroundings.

Also the advert framing looks like some has fallen off - I get that it hasn't but it looks odd not forming an enclosed shape.

I agree, I think it looks good but the Orange Dash Panel wasn't necessary. I wonder how a Plaxton President would look in that as I'm sure Fife still have some.

From what I can see none of the Presidents currently with Stagecoach have the later version (MMC) of "beachball". As policy is to repaint with the now current livery I don't think we'll see an MMC beachball liveried President.

Never say never for the new livery though, stranger things have happened! ;)

There are about 25 Presidents at East Midlands

Ah cool, I'd love to see a new liveried President... all that matters if they do a decent enough paint job.
East Mids seem to be doing very well with the new livery. A large chunk of the fleet is repainted, and they seem to be solid repaints too! I hope we see a President soon...

Apparently 21264 at Grimsby depot has been repainted into the new livery. If so, I believe it is the first Wright Eclipse body so treated. It was one of the buses mothballed due to the current service reductions, so we'll have to see if it gets swapped for another vehicle.

It has been painted, I've only seen a photo of the rear end though.
