Wimbledon just this evening and Totnes last weekend. Both times with stationery or slow moving trains and a yellow line a good metre and a bit from the edge
Wimbledon has a lot of agency staff in at the moment because of the tennis being on so possibly they have been trained to be very tight on that.

Had one yawp at me at Stafford not long back for not standing behind the line.
I looked down & was around 6 inches behind it.
Shout at me all day long if I cross it but you can shove it where the sun doesn’t shine if I’m not.
I later told him that I wasn’t in front of the yellow line but he totally ignored me!

Might have been because I had a camera & in his eyes a train spotter which I’m not.
Or, depending on the platform, you were obstructing his view of the PTI. Platforms 3 and 6 in particular can be an issue, especially if a load of passengers are bunched by the stairs

That's a video that's 2 1/2 hours long - the relevant timestamp would be appreciated.
For me the video autostarts as the train is approaching the station so no more than 15 seconds until the near miss

When I click to watch it starts at exactly the point that the poster is on about at, go to 15 mins in and watch.
